Attention Missouri Dentists
Effective Jan. 1, 2027, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan will update claims processing for certain three-surface restoration codes to ensure they are processed and reimbursed based on the appropriate three-surface designation. Providers should continue to submit claims using accurate CDT coding.

Attention NJ Dentists
To remain an active UHCCP Medicaid provider, you must have an active NJ Medicaid ID and revalidate every 5 years. This process is separate from credentialing with MCOs.

The NJ Medicaid program has reported that IDs for providers who’ve failed to revalidate in the last 5 years have been terminated. We strongly encourage all NJ dentists to contact Gainwell Technologies at: 833-909-1522 to confirm their revalidation status. Please view the Revalidation Instructions from Gainwell for more information. Failure to revalidate may result in termination from UHCCP Medicaid if your NJ Medicaid ID is terminated.

Effective Dec. 1, 2026, the Ohio Medicaid dental clinical policies will be updated and available here.

Updates include revisions to multiple clinical policy areas, including restorative services, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, implants, anesthesia/sedation, diagnostic procedures, and preventive services.

Regularly reviewing provider portal updates will help ensure alignment with the latest Ohio Medicaid dental policy requirements.
